Brook Hiddink is an eCommerce “Guru” who seems to be revolutionizing the dropshipping game. He believes that people are doing it wrong because of the markets they are in and who targeting.
How most people do eCommerce defies common sense. Most people sell cheap products, making their profit margins very thin. Most people sell to consumers, 90% of people live paycheck to paycheck. Due to these factors, Brook is pioneering a new method commonly referred to as “High Ticket dropshipping”. He targets business owners and sells products upwards of $5,000 through cold emails. Intern saving money on ads.
How to implement his strategies
Firstly finding the right niche with the software he uses. This helped Brook gather data and read insights based on trends, ads and other competitors.
Pick a B2B product within that niche that is receiving at least 30,000 searches online. Ensure the product is over $5,000
Next create an offer that is so irresistible business owners will dumb to say no.
Is this a good idea
Dropshipping is growing therefore it is becoming harder for entrepreneurs to compete. Thinking outside the box and doing things differently is must to make a profit.
However different doesn’t mean better. Ask anyone who has dealt with business owners and they will tell you they want nothing to do with anyone they don’t trust, and cold outreach will have you sending multiple emails with zero to no response. So unless your lead generation tactics are superior, then you won’t get anywhere.
Ideally paying for ads google search ads for non-competitive keywords is a decent way to get customers. This will be extremely considering you are paying you only pay per clikc. If you are and creative you can found keywords going for less than $0,50c per click
Why share his secrets?
Smart business owners would give away methods unless there is an alternative motive. Likely Brook using social media and sharing his tactics as the main traffic source for a paid community(he does). Or he is affiliated with some of the tools he tells you to use intern making him affiliate commossions. He likely could just want status and fame, knowing the market is big enough for everyone to have a slice.
Or maybe he’s just a really lovely guy?
