He started flipping Instagram theme pages, shortly after he started dropshipping. He was selling a skin routine product that makes your face bubble. He faced difficulties such as unhappy customers, chargebacks, and long shipping times but he persevered. The pain was worth it because 1 week before his 17th birthday he bought himself a Porsche.
He then started documenting his e-commerce journey by posting tutorials and challenges on YouTube. This allowed him to have access to people who he never did before, travel and explore the world. He was so focused on his business that he even paid someone $150 a week to do his school work and help him graduate high school. He managed to this after successfully convincing his parents to let him switch to online school.
He finally had everything that he wanted at the age of 17. However, he started to lose focus. He had no financial accountability, he was drinking and smoking often and he surrounded himself with the wrong people. He didn’t waste any time and leased an apartment in his hometown the day that he turned 18. Tanner describes this decision as a “huge mistake” because it made him comfortable.
Tanner’s business started to slack, after almost facing eviction and troubles with taxes he decided to use the last of his money to travel looking for better environment. After deciding to stay in Arizona with his friend Hayden Bowles he found his second wind and became more successful than he ever was making $300k a month with a single product.
Things started to go downhill for the second time, forcing tanner to sell his dream cars after drowning in credit card debt and rent. He moved to Puerto Rico and prioritized his health. The 75 hard challenge was the one the jump-started his new lifestyle after completing it twice and helping him lose over 60 lbs.
He then started selling a FB ads training program making him $10–$15k. That’s when he first realized the potential of the term he calls “digital dropshipping that now makes him over $50k a month. With extremely healthy margins due to know shipping costs and happy customers because the product is instantly fulfilled.
